Have more vegetables



 
If you're going to have vegetables, make sure it's fresh. Canned vegetables are convenient, but they don't offer some of the same nutrients when they are fresh. Some of these vegetables have been processed and are even packed with preservatives for a longer shelf life.

Besides vegetables taste way better when they are fresh. One thing to do is make sure you buy the vegetables 3 days before using it to ensure that you're getting the freshest produce for your meal. Vegetables are low in calories and help to make you feel full.
